Retiring Your "Worn" US Flag
Your worn US Flags should be retired in a respectful manner. Here at Lake of the Woods, we have a convenient method for ensuring that they are handled in the proper manner. Thanks to LOW Eagle Scout Kaleb Kindred, there is a Flag Drop box just inside the entrance foyer of the lower level of the Holcomb Building. Flags left in this box are periodically collected and taken to organizations that regularly do it the right way, such as the American Legion Post in the Town of Orange.
